Keep your bait up out of the dirt or mud. Double drop rig avaerage of 52" swivel to swivel. Can be sed for surf fishing, drop fishing for catfish, anything that will bite a suspended bait.  tie one end onto your line,  bait the hooks, attach sinker to the other end and cast out.  Snap swivels allow quick change of weight.  3 to a package.
